The

Nicene Creed

Written in 325AD

Note: This is the True Christian Creed of the Church that Jesus Christ and his apostles started. It’s a statement of faith written by the early Church Fathers (bishops) in 325AD and believed by all the people of Christian Church in a time when there was only one true Christian Church. The Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic and Protestants reform Churches did not existed at this time. This is the Creed we believe in and all true Christian people today should believe in. By saying this Creed with faith is to enter into communion with God.

1.) I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. (Gen.1:1)

2.) And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God (Luke 1:28),

Begotten of the Father before all ages (John 1:1-2 and John 3:17)

3.) God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made (John 10:30 and John 1:3).

4.) Who, for us men for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary (Luke 1:31-35),

5.) And was made man (John 1:14)

6.) And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate (Matt.27:22-25)

7.) He suffered and was buried (Matt. 27:57-61)

8.) and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures (Luke 24:7)

9.) and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father (Acts 1:11)

10.) And He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end (Luke 1:33 and II Thess. 4:16-17)

11.) And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father [John 15:26)]

12.) Who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets (John 4:24)

13.) And I believe in One Holy Catholic (Catholic here means universal) and Apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Any person of the Eastern Orthodox Churches, or Roman Catholic, or any of the denomination of the Protestant Churches that deny (don't believe or accept this creed) is not a true Christian.

This is the true creed that fully explains the Christian faith and it remained so for the first thousand years of the Church history. This creed is also biblically base, so if you believe that the Bible is the true word of God, than you must accept the Nicene creed as God inspired.
