This is the very Core teaching

The Servants of Christ Jesus of the Catholic Faith

Theology, Doctrine and Dogma

These three big words, theology, Doctrine, and Dogma combined with man’s self-pride, ego, and ambition; under the cover of God and religion is what causes the separation of Christian Churches. It first started with Rome breaking away from the Eastern Churches causing the great schism of 1054, then Martin Luther followed Rome example and started his own Church in 1521, then the Anglican Church followed Rome example through the action of King Henry VIII in 1530.  It’s a human weakness to want power and authority so that people have to come to you when they seek salvation establishing a monopoly on God salvation. I have seen and participate in round table discussions, theological debates with pastors and scholars of numerous denominations; and I have learn that only God knows the absolute truth of all the theological concepts and theories, doctrines of the faith and Dogma of the Churches.

Each to its Beliefs

All of the Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholics, Old Catholics, Reform Catholics and Protestants Churches, each worshiping God in their own way according to their understanding of the Holy Scriptures, and Traditions; each having their own list of doctrines that they believe in as part of their faith; but 90% of all Christian Churches, no matter what their differences are, all have a unity in Christ through the communion of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Again, only God knows the absolute truth, we as humans can only assume we are correct in our interpretation of the Holy Scriptures. There will be people saved from all denominations, not from correct theology, Doctrine and Dogmas, but by faith alone in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Eastern Orthodox have their doctrine of faith and so does the Roman Catholics and Protestant Churches, but what they all have in common is their unity in Christ through the acceptance of the Nicene Creed as their statement of faith; taking part in the communion of faith among all Christian Churches. It is this communion of Faith in Jesus Christ that constitutes salvation, not theological concepts & theories, Doctrines or Dogma that separate all the Christian Churches. Theology is the study of God, his mysteries, it is not the way to salvation, and it’s only for learning and understanding God laws and prophecy, for instruction and for reproof.

What is Heresy?

I have met bishops and laymen and pastors of the Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Old Catholic, Reform Catholic and Protestants that have told me the same thing. That other Church teaches heresy all because the other Church believed differently than what their Church believes in. So the correct definition is that when another Church teaching is different than yours, then they are teaching heresy. WRONG. However, here is the truth on this matter, only God knows the absolute truth in what is correct and what is wrong. But it’s their teachings of scriptures in every Church that separates every Church one from the other. Does it really matter that you believe in one thing and I believe in another thing, the answer is “NO”, because theology, Doctrine, & Dogma will never give you salvation, only your faith in Jesus Christ will obtain for you salvation; so why argue or debate the issue. The Holy Scriptures teach us about God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and of salvation and that is the true purpose of studying the Holy Scripture, to learn and be educated, to come and understand God and His love, it’s a path to salvation but it is not salvation.

Story of Rabbi Hillel

The Talmud tells a story of Rabbi Hillel, who lived around the time of Jesus.  A pagan came to him saying that he would convert to Judaism if Hillel could teach him the whole of the law (Torah) while he standing on one foot.  Hillel replied, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”  That is the whole of the law (Torah); the rest is just commentary.

“Jesus answered him, “‘you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind’. This is the first and great commandment. And there is a second like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’. The whole of the Law and the Prophets depends on these two commandments.” Matt. 22:37-40

So it is with Christian Salvation, faith in Jesus Christ is all that is needed, the rest of all the teachings is just commentary.

Now just about all Churches have a set of doctrine or dogma that is required for you to confirm that you believe in order to become a member of that Church, that’s fine. However, it is not required for salvation and if they tell you that you need to believe in their doctrine or you won’t be saved, then I would find another church to join. Unless the doctrine is “Faith in Jesus Christ to be saved” of which you will be baptized and it must be in the name of the Faith and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19) and then you must be sealed (given) the Holy Spirit (John 3:1-6) and that is all that is required.

Now once you have been baptized its only common sense that you will give up your sinful ways and life style and practice God way of life. In understanding all I just said is the correct reason for studying the Holy Scriptures. Works of good deeds will not save you, living a righteous life will not save you, but by practicing these things shows God that you have truly accepted his ways and his Son, Jesus in faith as your savor.

Doing good works is your expression of God love working in you it’s the image of God you are reflecting from your works. When you accept Jesus as your savor then you will want to follow and practice his teachings and when you do this you are showing God that you are a true believer. When you accept Jesus as your savor your soul binds itself with him and you are crucified with him on the cross and you will take part in the resurrection also.

People from all the different Christian Churches Orthodox, Catholics and Protestants will be saved who believe and accept Jesus Christ “the kingdom of heaven is like a net which was thrown into the sea and gather fish of every kind; when it was full.” Mt. 13:37-48 (Mt. 13:52; Mt. 17:18).

If I attend a theological class taught by a Methodist professor, then I must be wise enough to understand that he will teach theology that closely agree with the Methodist church, its only human nature. So it is with the Presbyterians, Baptist, Lutherans, Anglicans, Episcopal, and all the others. It is very hard to teach the subject of theology without taking side and be neutral at all times.

So if you decide to follow my foot step and study with the entire main stream Protestants Churches, then keep this in mind; that whatever Church you study with they will teach you what they believe is the correct interpretation. No one but God can say with absolute truth what is correct and only when we are in heaven will we fully understand the truth. Until then I teach that all people be comfortable with what they think is correct and be happy, do not cross over the lines of moral laws and committee willful sin.

In a Nut Shell

I will give you the secret all in a nut shell, from the book of Geneses to the book of Revelation, the common truth runs through all the books of the Bible “GOD WHAT US TO LOVE HIM MORE THAN SIN”

“I forsake my sins; I give them up, not because I was order to, or told to, I give them up because of my love for my God.”
